FAQ
When will I receive my photos?
Your gallery will be ready in around 2 to 3 weeks after your session. I take my time choosing and editing your images, making sure each one is finished with care before sharing them with you.
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can choose your favourite images. If you fall in love with them all, you can upgrade to the full gallery for £250. Additional images are £10 each.
Where should the session take place?
I’m based in South West London and am always happy to travel across London and Greater London.
Your session can take place in the comfort of your own home, especially lovely for newborns and those early days together. For older babies and families, we can also head out for a little walk in the park or visit a location that feels special to you.
What should we wear?
Soft, neutral tones that complement each other are always a lovely choice and photograph beautifully. Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send you a styling guide and we can talk through outfit options together, so you feel comfortable and like yourself on the day.
My house is too small, will it work?
I love photographing families at home. It tells a story and captures the little details of the life you’re living right now.
I’ve photographed in all sorts of homes, from small flats to messy living rooms, and I can promise you that your home doesn’t need to be perfect to create something beautiful and special. Your home holds your story, and trust me, the light matters far more than the size of the space.
Do you have a studio?
I don’t have my own studio, but there are some beautiful natural light studios across London that I love working in. I currently work closely with Studio SW18 and would be happy to help you find a space that feels right for your session.
Studio hire is not included in the photography package. The studio is chosen together, but booked and paid for separately by you. Prices start at £80 per hour, depending on the studio.
When is the best time for a pregnancy shoot?
The best time for maternity photos is usually between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is showing beautifully and you’re still feeling comfortable. For twins or multiples, I recommend booking a little earlier, around 24 to 28 weeks.
Every pregnancy is different, so we’ll find the right time for you.
When is the best time for a newborn session?
Those first few weeks pass in a blur, and before you know it, your baby has changed so much. The newborn days are a lovely time to capture just how tiny they are, but there’s no need to rush.
At 3 months, you might start seeing little smiles and more interaction. By 6 months, they may be sitting up and exploring the world. And around their first birthday, there are new expressions, little steps and so much personality.
I always recommend booking in advance, especially for newborn sessions, so we can make sure to capture those first precious days. They’re only this little once, and I’d hate for you to miss the chance to remember them just as they are.
